Made in Chelsea, in 1856
With over 160 years’ experience matching people and property throughout London, we’re not only one of London’s longest established agents, but also one of the most prevalent. The best in the business
A culture built on energy, agility, professionalism and knowledge, our local teams live and breathe our values. We go to great lengths to get the best results for our clients.Local know-how, better results
Our clients benefit from better results because we intimately understand – and are proud to be a part of – the communities in which we operate.Marsh & Parsons’ Kennington estate agency office is located on Kennington Road, and offers both residential sales and lettings services.
The central location of our office allows us to cover Kennington in its entirety, as well as the surrounding areas of Elephant & Castle, Vauxhall and Stockwell. Mainly within the Lambeth Borough, Kennington sits between Vauxhall and Elephant and Castle, and is home to the Oval cricket ground and the Imperial War Museum. In recent years, its central location and excellent transport links have led to a rise in popularity and a wave of redevelopment.
Professionals are mostly attracted to the area because of its proximity to Vauxhall station. From here they can get the Victoria line into central London and to King’s Cross in 10 minutes, or trains to England’s south-west. The Northern line at Kennington Underground station provides links to the City and to central London. Despite being in zone 2, rental prices are often cheaper than the London average.
Our Kennington office is one of 27 interconnected Marsh & Parsons offices all over London. The Kennington team works especially closely with our other South London offices in nearby Brixton, Clapham and Balham as well as our other branches, like Battersea, Streatham Hill, and Tooting, to form a dedicated local network of estate agents.
Kennington’s large, high-quality Georgian properties are an appealing option for those looking for a sizeable flat or family home. Its pretty squares- whether they’re imposing like the famous Cleaver Square or quiet and hidden- make for an idyllic, genteel sense to the area that betrays its central location.

A short walk from the Thames, Pimlico and Westminster, Kennington was the area of choice for politicians of years gone by. Nowadays, it hosts a much more diverse range of residents, especially thanks to its links to South London and influx of new shops and restaurants. If you’re interested, you can read more about the area in our Living in Kennington guide.
