Home › Zoopla changes PR agency after long-standing business relationship
Request Valuation
If you are interested in both a sales and rental valuation, please select Sales.
Zoopla has a new PR agency, ending its long-standing relationship with Instinctif Partners formerly the Wriglesworth Consultancy.
The Wriglesworth Consultancys association with what is now Zoopla goes back to well before Zooplas own emergence, to the days of the original part of the business, Propertyfinder.
As Instinctif, the firm holds a number of high-profile accounts in the property and mortgage world, including LSL, in particular Marsh & Parsons, and the Mortgage Advice Bureau.
As Wriglesworth, the firm also ran the PR for the NAEA.
It is not clear why it has lost the Zoopla account, which it had run for over six years.
Before taking on the account, it had run the PR for Rightmove. It is not clear whether it was offered the chance to pitch for the Zoopla business again.
Brands2Life won the account following a competitive pitch against Weber Shandwick.
Lawrence Hall, head of communications at Zoopla Property Group, did not comment to EYE.
However, Jodie Simpson, co-chair of the consumer practice at Brands2Life, told PR Week: Weve created an exciting programme packed with shareable content ideas that well execute across social and traditional channels to challenge Zooplas competitors and help it reach new and existing audiences on- and off-line.
* Separately, weve all heard of first-time buyers but first-time advertisers?
Trade publication More About Advertising has given a less than enthusiastic rating of Your Moves TV advert.
It says: Its a bit of a shame that the debut ad is of the crowd of happy customers genre, beloved of first-time advertisers.
But estate agents, now battling discounters at last, can really only promote their service and (supposed) large number of potential buyers.
